Barack Obama is the president elect of the United States of America, and the first African American to be elected President of the U.S.A. His term as official President is scheduled to begin after he is sworn as the forty-fourth President at noon on January 20, 2009 (today) in the biggest inaugural ceremony in history at the U.S Capitol.
I am so glad and excited about today's event, it will be the most historic moment in the nation's 232-year existence, and that everybody in this generation will remember. Change, is what we need, and even though our country is going through a rough situation, i know that in a few years, everything will be behind us. It will take time to get back to normal, but at least we have a hope that it will happen, and this is the CHANGE WE NEED!!!!
