Ford Motor reported that its ongoing losses soared in the fourth quarter, but the company reiterated it still does not need the federal bailout already received by its two U.S. rivals.
Ford reported a net loss of $5.9 billion, or $2.46 a share, up from a loss of $2.8 billion in the same quarter a year ago. Police reveal details on Travolta extortion plot

A paramedic allegedly tried to extort $25 million from John Travolta with a nearly worthless weapon: a medical document that was irrelevant to the death of the actor's son, authorities in the Bahamas say. Tarino Lightbourn, an Emergency Services Tech II with the Rand Memorial Hospital ambulance squad in Freeport, has been in custody since his arrest on Jan. 23. He is charged with conspiracy to commit extortion and attempted extortion. He pleaded not guilty on Monday and is scheduled to appear before Magistrate Carolita Bethel in Nassau on Wednesday. His attorney, who is charged with two counts of extortion, is also scheduled to appear before the magistrate. The case revolves around Lightbourn's efforts to allegedly sell a one-page "refusal to transport" document that Travolta signed when Lightbourn was treating the actor's 16-year-old son, Jett, according to the Bahamian police."The document did not apply in the Travolta case," Dames tells PEOPLE. "It did not apply because he was very ill, and so, the only alternative would be to take him to the hospital. Refusal to transport documents are for cases involving minor injuries. Sarah Jessica Parker, Lisa Kudrow and Susan Sarandon are about to learn a little more about themselves thanks to a new series NBC has lined up, which will look into the stars' family trees. "Who Do You Think You Are," the latest venture from former "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow's production company, Is or Isn't Entertainment, in conjunction with the U.K.'s Wall to Wall productions, will take various celebrities through their family trees as they learn about their ancestry, which is often linked to major events in American history.

reported a fourth-quarter loss Tuesday, but the results weren't as bad as Wall Street analysts feared. The Silicon Valley company said it lost $303 million, or 22 cents per share, because of costs to cover layoffs and bum investments. In the year-ago quarter, Yahoo earned $206 million, or 15 cents. If not for restructuring charges this quarter, Yahoo said it would have earned 17 cents per share — besting the average estimate of 13 cents per share among analysts polled by Thomson Reuters.

MTV announced today, that they are going for season 2 of 'The City', from what i know and have read, 'The city' kinda suck with the ratings.... I think the only episode that had an ok rating, was the first one, but just like Bromance......Both shows suck and didnt keep the audience!!!! Well, it seems like everything is going good in Lalaland......This is how it went down, Kevin went to pick up the boys at Brit's new place, and he was invited by dad Jamie spears to come in, and end up spending the afternoon at Brit's BBQ.........
